We built this tool because we wanted a simple, honest way to handle EXIF data—no uploads, no accounts, no fine print.
What we do
ImgMeta.app lets you view, edit, and remove EXIF metadata from your photos in the browser. You can see what's hidden in an image, change things like author or copyright, or strip out location and device info before sharing. All of that happens on your device.
Why we built it
We were tired of tools that either required uploads, hid what they did with your data, or were cluttered with ads and sign‑ups. We wanted something minimal: you open the site, you use it, your photos never leave your machine. That's the idea.
Your photos stay yours
We don't upload your images. We don't store them. We don't see them. Processing runs in your browser using JavaScript. If that changes in the future, we'll say so clearly.

A small team that cares about privacy and simplicity. We're not a big company; we're just people who wanted a better way to handle EXIF.
